What is SIREN?
Every AI doom number is a judgement call. This one is arithmetic: how much is happening in AI, measured hourly from public data — not how bad it is. Five pillars, one 0-100 score, one level from 5 (quietest) to 1 (loudest), and every number reproducible from a published receipt.
What does the name SIREN mean?
SI is superintelligence. REN is Real-time Early Notice. Together: a siren for the road to superintelligence, which tells you how loud things are and never claims to know how the road ends. The index was called DOOMCON until October 2026. Only the name changed; the method, the history and every receipt are the same.

SIREN is a small, automated publication. A collector reads public sources every hour, a published formula turns them into a score, and a static site is rebuilt from the result. Who runs SIREN?
One person, independently. It is not affiliated with any AI lab, government body or the organisations whose scales it borrows its grammar from. It is free to read, carries no display-ad network and has no investors.
