• Sentiment is context, not a signal. Extreme fear has more often come near market lows and extreme greed near highs, so many investors read these gauges the opposite way.
• This page's own score is built only from the data it already has, and each part is shown above. CNN's index adds put/call options data the page doesn't have, so the two can differ.
• Reddit and StockTwits counts are small samples and easy to game. Treat sudden buzz on small stocks with suspicion.

• Gaps compare DexScreener's USD prices. Pools quoted in SOL, USDC or other tokens are converted at slightly different moments, so small gaps are often noise.
• "Best case" assumes a simple constant-product pool, 0.6% in swap and network fees for the round trip, and no competition. Real gaps get taken in milliseconds by bots that pay priority fees, and concentrated-liquidity pools can move faster than this estimate.
• The rug screen uses only market data. Mint and freeze authority, holder concentration and locked liquidity need an on-chain check: use the RugCheck and Solscan links.

• The gap log records every time a market's edge crosses your threshold while this page is open: when it opened, how big it got and how long it lasted. Gaps that close in a few seconds are usually stale quotes or the model lagging, and they're gone before a person could act.
• This is the "compare live BTC with Polymarket odds" idea as a read-only monitor. It never places orders.
• Model: BTC follows a random walk with the volatility above (by default, the last 7 days of hourly OKX returns). Real prices have fatter tails, so a big "edge" on a far-away strike usually means the model is wrong, not the market.
• Polymarket settles on Binance BTC/USDT or Chainlink; this page uses the OKX price, which can differ by a few dollars. Spreads, fees and slippage come out of any edge.
• The 5-minute, 15-minute and 4-hour Up/Down markets settle on an average price over the window, which the model doesn't price; they're listed but not scored.
